Describe one significant activity or project that you have completed or are working on currently.
i have compleated my book list. this is a list of books taht i was given to make up the small book collections at the schools. so what i had to do was to find the book the author of the book the description and price there was publishing info and the ISBN number or somethng... i had to do this for 200 books or something or more...
another project was to put names into the database... using filemaker... but the fun stuff is making copies cause you actualy get to move around...(its very hot in the office)

Daily Posts March 24-27
March 24th
I came to my internship sight... with no one in shight... um hmm so i just sit down and do my book list for a while... ok i did this for 15 minutes got 3 or 4 books that i was suposed to find... and here jessica comes and gives me a new asighnment... im suposed to put a list of people into their data base... so i do just that and im don with the whole list by 4. and i leave
March 25th
i get a second list that was in the folder that listed scolarships that these peopel offer or took im not realy sure.... so i put that in the field specified... then they tell me to go make a bunch of coppies... telme i fthey want them stapled whole punched etc... so i make copies all daytill 3:50 then i sit down to do my book list and the time it took me to get the computer started up i have to leave....
March 26th
i come in 15 min earlier as usual... and my mentor tells me that i should be done with the book list by the end of tommorrow! and i still have a $#*! load to go ... omg so i sit down like a robot not even browsing through the bok descripton.... copy paste coppy paste... all day at 4:00 i realise i shouldnt have huried...
March 27th
I come in and the guy at the front desk (thomas) tells me that daria and jessica arent there an that they asighned a place for me to sit and stuff.. so i go there and finish my book list than check through the emails that i have gotten from other schools with their pictures... and see some hmm weird responces like they never got the first email and questioning the reminder... so i had to answer those and its time to go....

Weekly Vocabulary
umm i dont talk too much and the work i do doesent require me reading anythyng. All the work i do curently is mostly copy paste and scan. Baybe like draw there wasnt a new word(an apropriate word) i learned in about 3 months or more.
Second Week Assignment part 2
What did you do during your second week?
More relaxed work. like sitting online searching for books and activities for internationals to do over the summer.
How was it different than the first week?
First week was over fast the second week was boring and there was nothing to do. The work was very iritating.
What is something that you really like about the internship?
Im not sure i still like the place. because i was suposed to upload files to heir website and stuff like that and edit the site. But instead i do some boring search thing.
What is something you dislike about the internship?
I wasnt offered to do the work i was told im going to do before i got in the internship.

The End of the First Week of Internships
Please describe your internship site by answering the following questions...
What is it?
At the Internationals Network for public schools
What kind of business is it and what kind of work do the professionals do there?
i dont know what the others do there because they dont realy tell me but im sure they do finance because i heard of quick books being used. The stuff im doing is prety simple like manage some links on their web page and look up free summer programs... make copies... scan stuff etc...

hmm she's ok typical american person, folow the procedure, be organized...
What happened on the first day? the first day was prety funn because i has an ok task and i finished it quickly with all the other stuff i had to do.
What kinds of things have you done so far?
some sort of linking webpages, making copies, sorting papers, scaning things to pdf... ummm... finding books for ppl at our schools... looking through summer programs, and... bla...
What were some of the highlights of the first week? (Memorable moments, cool things...)
i cant realy remember too much from the first week because it went so fast.
Please answer some logistical questions...
When do you leave school?
like 11:45 or when ever my friends leave the cafeteria after school
How long does it take you to get to your internship?
about 55 minutes
When do you arrive at home?
that be realy hard to answer cause i dont go home after but... if i leave at 4:00 id probly be at my house like at 5:30 ish
What is your schedule? (What days do you work and for how long each day?)
Mon - Fri from 1 to 4 pm
Who are the two people that can sign your time card? (Your mentor and the additional person)
mentor and some coworker
At this point, do you have any other questions, comments, concerns, queries, or inquiries?
(anybody else miss the picture that was here before coment me. if i have to do this every day might as well put a bunch of other stuff on the web from a russ server so the gov cant do anything...im not getting rid of the sound track tho its my theme!!!)
